Studio Portraiture

If you have taken the time to browse my portfolio galleries, you will see that I offer a limited studio service which is set up for each session in my home (actually it is run from my dining room/lounge).  Whilst this is not a conventional High Street studio, it does have the advantage of offering a relaxed atmosphere.  It is therefore ideal for children in particular, who may feel intimidated by large studio premises.  All the studio photographs seen in my portfolio have been taken using this setup.

Alternatively, it may be that you would love to have your portrait taken in 'that special place'.  This is a super alternative to a studio setting, especially if you are very nervous!  Should this idea appeal, why not consider 'location portraiture'.

Location Portraiture

For many people, the most ideal place for a portraiture session is in their own home or a location of their choosing.  Familiar and comfortable settings lend themselves to relaxed, enjoyable portrait sessions with the result that photographs capture the true personality.

I specialize in child and family portraiture. Having worked with children for many years, I have a good understanding of their needs.  I offer a flexible, friendly service for all child sessions.  Should you need to re-schedule due to child illness, no additional costs will be incurred.

On booking a location session, we will arrange a convenient time prior to the shoot, to meet and discuss clothing, location, props (if required) and any particular goals that you might like to achieve.
