About

The first memory I have of picking up a camera was when I was nine years old and on a day trip to London with my father. My father's pride and joy was a Pentax Super ME. I had a heck of a time convincing him to let me hold it let alone use it!! Who would have realised that, from that very first picture, such a passion would evolve.

In 1998 I became a registered childminder, and the in the same year I was given my very first SLR camera,  a Nikon F50. I didn't have a clue how to use it so booked myself a 5 week course in SLR basics at my local college and then, with limited basic know how, started to happy snap the children in my care. Forever striving for better pictures, I spent every spare moment with my nose in a book and within 6 months I had out grown that camera and, from there on in, my bank balance began to get hit hard!

In 2000 I enrolled on a City & Guilds photography course and, after qualifying in 2004 with eight distinctions and earning my LRPS, was asked to photograph my first wedding. The couple were thrilled with the results. Since then, I have been asked again and again to photograph these special moments.  This has now become a large part of my business.  Take some time to browse the open galleries in my portfolio.  I hope you like what you see.  I am always happy to help in any aspect of photography and look forward to helping you with all your photographic needs.
